Privacy Policy
EnLoop is private by design. Your content and recordings stay on your iPhone, processed entirely on-device. We run no inference servers, keep no user database, and require no account. We do not collect, sell, or share your personal data.
What stays on your device
Imported text, photos and videos, your voice recordings, sentences, word cards, scores and study progress are stored locally on your device. Recognition, read-aloud, scoring, content enrichment and image generation all run on-device.
iCloud sync (optional)
If you are signed in to iCloud, your study data syncs through your own private iCloud database (Apple CloudKit). It lives inside your Apple account; we have no access to it and keep no server-side copy. Turn it off and EnLoop works fully offline.
What our servers do
Our only servers are a static content delivery network that ships prebaked illustration packs and textbook packs. These downloads contain no personal data and need no login. Your recordings and imported content are never uploaded.
Optional cloud AI (off by default)
You may optionally connect your own third-party AI key (bring-your-own-key) to enrich content. This is off by default. When enabled, only the text you choose is sent to the provider you configured, under that provider's terms; your voice recordings are never sent.
Notifications
Review reminders are scheduled locally on your device. They contain only an aggregate count (for example, the number of cards due today) and are never routed through a server or push service.
No tracking
EnLoop contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising identifiers and no third-party trackers.
Children
EnLoop does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect personal information at all.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date.
